On Feb. 11, 2022 at approximately 12:45 p.m. the Frederick Police Department responded to the area of Key Parkway and Waverley Drive for a report of a suspicious person that was possibly armed.
Upon responding to the scene, two Frederick Police Officers and one suspect were shot. Both officers and the suspect were transported to an area trauma center for their injuries.
This is an active investigation and more information will be released at a second press conference at 5 p.m. that will be streamed on the FPD Facebook.
