Two events in the City of Frederick Saturday, July 16, 2022 will cause several road closures and parking restrictions.
The National Clustered Spires High Wheel race will take place Saturday with the following roads being closed from 11-3:30 p.m.:
- North Market Street – between Church and 2nd Streets
- West 2nd Street – between Market Street and Bentz Streets
- Record Street – between West 2nd and Church Streets
- West Church Street – between Bentz and Market Streets
Parking spaces that are restricted will have signage on them indicating parking is not allowed during the time the event is taking place.
Additionally, the Community Block Party hosted by Asbury United Methodist Church from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. will result in W. All Saints Street being closed during the event. We ask all commuters to please plan their travel accordingly and expect some delays in the area.
