Hagerstown man arrested in shooting that injured two

The Frederick Police Department has arrested and charged a suspect in the double shooting of two victims earlier this month. 

 

At approximately 1 a.m. Tuesday July 5, officers responded to a shooting in the 1000 Block of Heather Ridge Drive that left two adult males injured. 

 

During the investigation, detectives identified Raven Justin Cosley, 42, of Hagerstown, as the suspect in the shooting. At approximately 5 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2022, investigators took Cosley into custody with the assistance of the US Marshals Captial Region Fugitive Task Force. Cosley was taken into custody without incident. 

 

Coseley is charged with:

  1. Two counts of First Degree Assault
  2. Two Counts of Reckless Endangerment
  3. Use of a firearm in a violent crime
  4. Illegal Possession of a handgun
