The Frederick Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating a bank robbery that occurred this morning
On 10-18-2022, around 9:43 AM, officers of the Frederick Police Department responded to the Wells Fargo Bank on Wormans Mill Road, in Frederick City, MD for a reported bank robbery.
During the investigation, it was determined the suspect entered the bank, advised he had a weapon, and demanded money. The suspect then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of currency. The suspect was observed entering a black Nissan Murano, with what is believed to be a 2015-2022 Midnight Edition trim model – with all-black wheels.
The suspect was identified as a black male, wearing blue jeans and a dark-colored jacket.
