The City of Frederick offices will be closed to observe the Christmas Holiday on, Monday December 26, 2022, and the New Year’s Holiday on, Monday January 2, 2023. Please reference the following:
Trash Collection Services:
Residential
There will be no trash collection service on Monday, December 26, 2022, in observance of the Christmas Holiday.
- If you normally set your household trash out on Sunday evening for Monday collection, please set your trash out on Monday evening for Tuesday collection.
- All other Trash routes are as scheduled.
There will be no trash collection service on Monday, January 2, 2023, in observance of the New Year’s Holiday.
- If you normally set your household trash out on Sunday evening for Monday collection, please set your trash out on Monday evening for Tuesday collection.
- All other Trash routes are as scheduled.
Yard Waste Collection Services:
Residential
There will be no yard waste collection for NAC’s 6 & 7 on Monday December 26, 2022 or Monday January 2, 2023.
- NAC’s 6- & 7-yard waste collection will resume on Monday January 9, 2023.
Commercial Downtown Business District
Commercial Business Trash Service:
Trash will be collected on normal schedule.
Commercial Business Recycling Service (not RESIDENTIAL):
Commercial Business Recycling will not be collected on Monday, December 26, 2022, or Monday, January 2, 2023.
- Commercial Business Recycling will resume on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, and Wednesday, January 4, 2023, following the respective Holiday.
