The Frederick Police Department would like to congratulate our Manager of Records and Agency Accreditation, Dana Kelly, for being the recipient of the November 2022 CALEA Accreditation Manager Certification Award.
According to the CALEA announcement, “The CALEA Accreditation Manager Certification Award is presented to current CALEA Accreditation Managers whom have provided significant contributions in the public safety profession and CALEA. This award gives recognition to them while providing a platform to be viewed as an expert in the field of CALEA accreditation.”
Dana was recently elected the role of President of the Chesapeake Region Law Enforcement Accreditation Alliance. Her dedication and hard work is not only a major career achievement for Dana, but is also a strong representation of FPD as a leader in the accreditation network.
“Dana Kelly has worked diligently on a CALEA training and skills program to become certified as an Accreditation Manager,” said Lt. Aaron Lapp who is in charge of the Technology and Services Division at FPD. “Dana is making even more of a name for herself in the law enforcement accreditation community recently. FPD is lucky to have such a dedicated professional in our agency.”
